COURSE DESCRPTION
This course covers the major taxonomy of the Animal kingdom and their classifications with an introduction to Animal anatomy, physiology, morphology and ecology
Course Objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
Required Materials
Dissection kits (scissors, forceps, pins, scalpels).
Hand lenses and microscopes.
Prepared microscope slides (Porifera spicules, Hydra, Ascaris, insect wings, fish scales, etc.).
Preserved specimens (earthworm, frog, fish, insect collections).
Field notebooks for observation and sketching.
Nets, jars, and simple collection tools for small organisms.
Charts, models, and diagrams of animal groups.
Access to zoology animations, videos, and documentaries (e.g., Khan Academy, Crash Course Biology).
