At Central University for Science and Technology (CUST), we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent admission process for all prospective students. On-Campus Admission

To apply for on-campus admission at CUST, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Secondary School Completion: Applicants must have successfully completed secondary school
  • Minimum Academic Achievement: A minimum average mark of 65% is required for boys, and 60% for girls, in their secondary school studies

Required Documents

  • Original Secondary School Leaving Certificate, along with a copy
  • Six (6) passport-sized photos with a white background
  • An original letter of conduct from the applicant's secondary school
  • A sponsorship letter from the applicant's guardian

Admission Intakes

CUST operates on a well-structured academic calendar, with the year divided into two semesters, each lasting 21 weeks. Our semesters begin in February and August, and new students are admitted during these intakes.

Online Admission

We appreciate your interest in joining Central University for Science and Technology through our online admission process. Below are the steps to guide you through our digital enrollment process.

Enrollment Form

Start by visiting the CUST website, where you’ll find the enrollment form by clicking on the blue “Enroll Now” button. The form is straightforward and consists of several sections where you’ll provide the necessary details.

  • Personal Information: Enter your first name, last name, middle name, email address, phone number, birth date, and national identification number or social security number
  • Physical Address: Provide your complete address, including street name, city, zip code, and country
  • Program Selection: Choose the degree program you wish to apply for. Options include Bachelor’s Degree, Doctoral Degree, Master’s Degree, or enrollment in individual courses
  • Agreement to Terms: Carefully review and agree to our terms and conditions by entering your initials in the designated text boxes. These terms cover important aspects such as application charges, your right to cancel, refund policies, loan arrangements, and credit transfers. It's crucial to understand these obligations to make an informed decision

Finally, submit your application by entering the submission date and your electronic signature in the respective fields. If you wish, you may also include a brief message explaining your motivation for enrolling in the chosen program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy and Oversight: The Board sets the general policy for the university, ensures adherence to educational standards, and supervises the university’s performance. It also fosters relationships with other educational institutions
  • Administrative Authority: The Board has the authority to appoint the Rector, approve the university’s annual budget, and plan fundraising campaigns. It is also responsible for the formation and cancellation of departments or centers
  • Executive Committee: An executive committee within the Board manages and guides the day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives of the university
