Specific Objectives of the Program |
the end of the two-year Biology and Chemistry course the student teacher should be able to: 1. Use appropriate Biological and Chemistry knowledge and skills in everyday life 2. Apply skills for teaching and learning Biology and Chemistry through the use of various basic experiments and other hands-on activities 3. Demonstrate attitude, knowledge and skills in dealing effectively and efficiently with crosscutting issues 4. Analyze academic and pedagogical content of Biology and Chemistry subject Conduct action research in the teaching and learning of Biology and Chemistry 5. Apply appropriate pedagogical skills to learner including those with special education needs. 6. Use basic skills in measurement, assessment and evaluation 7. Upgrade academic knowledge in Biology subject.
