Faculty of Medicine & Surgery
The faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences is one of the pioneer faculties of CUST in the academic year of 2014/2015.
The advancements in the field of medicine and the lack of qualified doctors in Somalia dictated the need for competent doctors and graduates who can fulfill the existing medical needs of Somalia.

It aims to ensure that our graduates have a good working understanding of biological, psychological and social mechanisms and processes, as well as their impact on health and disease, based on principles of learning drawn from cognitive psychology.
